2 Months!

Ellie had her two month appointment on December 17th. She did great, despite being poked, prodded, and given her first round of immunizations.

She weighed in at 9 lbs 12 oz, and was in the 24th percentile in weight. That was up from 8 lbs 5 oz when we went in one month earlier. Her height (or length) was 21.5", and was in the 20th percentile for height. She is growing so well!

On the sleep front, Ellie has been sleeping 6-8 hours every night since coming home from my parent's house in Albuquerque for Thanksgiving. We have been very appreciative! One day after a lot of excitement (church, grocery shopping, and then a cookie exchange at my sister's house) she slept for 9 1/2 hours! David is really happy that Ellie seems to have inherited my love of sleeping.

Ellie can only handle a small amount of tummy time at once. . . right now she lasts a few minutes at a time, and every once in a while can handle about 5 minutes before being fussy. She lifts her head really well, and has much more control of her neck muscles these days. She loves standing on our laps too. I love our little 'conversations' too, when she responds to my questions with little coos and gurgles.
